Services
The Vocation Centre’s mission is to support you to discover your identity and mission in Christ.
- We offer resources and experiences to men and women seeking to deepen their understanding of who God is calling them to be.
- We particularly focus on providing guidance, advice, and accompaniment to Catholic men exploring a vocation to the Priesthood, and Catholic women and men exploring a vocation to consecrated life.
- The Vocation Centre also raises awareness of vocations throughout the Archdiocese and provides resources and experiences to communities such as parishes and schools, to support them in fostering a ‘culture of vocations’.
The services we provide include:
- one-to-one advice to individuals discerning priesthood or consecrated life
- events to help people discern their vocations, such as retreats and expos
- free resources on vocations and discernment (including a library)
- assisting you to find a spiritual director
We also
- support religious orders in their vocations work
- promote prayer for vocations in communities such as parishes
- catechise and raise awareness of vocations to foster a ‘culture of vocations’
- provide catechetical and prayer resources to parishes, schools and other groups
